And, come on..... Who (who came of age during those years) could forget the excitement surrounding the ANGEL concert? God, I had friends in the 8th grade who had all that band's albums. Their hair alone is stuck in 1980! Ah, the feathering (on guys no less)! Punky Meadows, where are you now?

I forgot. What about Robert Romanus (later to have the role of his career as "Damone" in Fast Times), and what the girls said about his character: "He hasn't been the same since he got the van. No, he hasn't been the same since he got the hair blower."
Hair blower?
Talk about something that guys today would say "huh?" about.
And where/when else would you have a soundtrack with as diverse as Janis Ian, Donna Summer and Angel?

ANGEL was designed as the dressed-in-white counterpart of Casablanca labelmates KISS.
Even package tours with Kiss didn't help them capture too many hearts!
Their appearance in FOXES was sort of their last hurrah!
Have you heard 'Punky's Whips' by Zappa where he invokes Punky Meadows name repeatedly?
I do love their song '20th Century Foxes' from the film, for sure!
Oh you got me on the hair blower. It's a period piece alright and yet somehow timeless too!
That <s>could</s> should be the definition of a great movie, IMO!
